The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh lands the left hand.
Hughers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Marsh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Marsh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hughers.

Marsh connects with a right hand. Hughers shakes it off.

and Marsh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Marsh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hughers napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Marsh is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Marsh connects with a single shot there.
Marsh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheers as Marsh lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hughers doesn't seem phased though.

Marsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hughers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hughers is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Marsh has his hands clasped together but Hughers extends an breaks Marsh's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hughers.
