The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cantstandya is out of range.
Cantstandya swings for the body but Miller moves out of range.
Miller swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Miller tries a low kick but Cantstandya avoids it.
Cantstandya shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller lands with a thumping leg kick.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cantstandya checks a leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Miller, right into the meat.
Cantstandya moves out of range of the strikes.
Cantstandya shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Miller as he jumps to the side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Cantstandya takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Miller throws a push kick but Cantstandya slaps the foot to one side.
Miller fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cantstandya checks it well.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Cantstandya darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cantstandya loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cantstandya accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Miller wants to stand but Cantstandya is controlling the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cantstandya is controlling him.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Goerge Cantstandya showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Cantstandya counters with a right hand to the body.
Miller throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cantstandya shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Cantstandya's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller leaves Cantstandya with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Miller throws a nice outside leg kick.
Miller throws the left hand but Cantstandya avoids the punch easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee warns Miller that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Miller wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cantstandya.
