The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klemperer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lind tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lind keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Klemperer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Klemperer misses with a right hand
and Lind moves into the clinch.
Lind taking a breather.
Klemperer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Klemperer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Werner Klemperer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lind swings widly with a right hand
and Klemperer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lind takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lind lands a jab to the nose.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lind connects with a right hand. Klemperer shakes it off.
Klemperer cracks Lind with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Klemperer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Klemperer misses with a right hand
and Lind counters with a body kick.
Lind misses with a body shot.
Klemperer misses with a hook.
Klemperer throws a lazy uppercut
and Lind counters with a crisp right hand that drops Klemperer! Lind lets Klemperer back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Klemperer is rocked!
A head kick by Lind - that's a beauty! Klemperer is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Lind can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Curtis Lind!
