Sauvage has chosen Chaos Is Me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emile Sauvage!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sauvage wants to control but Hardy is keeping busy.

Sauvage is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hardy pulls his head out easily.

Hardy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sauvage should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hardy wants to control but Sauvage is keeping him busy.
Sauvage tries to get to full guard but Hardy has control of the leg.
Hardy not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hardy wants to pass the guard but Sauvage is defending well.
It looks like Hardy is going to stand back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hardy has a takedown stuffed.

Sauvage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Sauvage works his way into full mount!
Hardy tries to hold on but Sauvage pushes him away.
Sauvage prevents Hardy from getting the reversal.

Sauvage with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Hardy is trying to escape the mount.
Sauvage manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hardy to take his back!

Sauvage is persistently looking for the submission but Hardy is defending it well.
Hardy tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Sauvage looks gassed!
Hardy is desperately trying to improve his position but Sauvage has a good base and remains in mount.

Sauvage working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hardy blocking the ground and pound.
Sauvage prevents Hardy from getting the reversal.
Hardy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sauvage tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hardy is working to get back to half guard.
Hardy tries to improve his position but instead Sauvage has taken his back!
Hardy rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hardy is looking to control Sauvage's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hardy avoid being mounted?

Sauvage is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hardy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
