Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draven fails to land the takedown.
Draven shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lopez as he jumps to the side.
Lopez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Draven paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lopez tries to keep at a distance but Draven has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lopez has clasped his hands together around Draven's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Draven knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lopez on the ground.
Draven is looking for a sweep.
Lopez throws an elbow but Draven slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lopez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lopez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lopez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Draven tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Draven throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lopez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Draven sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lopez seems to be working for a kimura but Draven defends the submission attempt.
Lopez is trying to work for a kimura but Draven is defending well.

Lopez has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Draven defend it? Lopez steps over the head and cranks it - Draven is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lopez!
