Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Balboa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rocky Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rocky Balboa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller fails to land the takedown. Miller clinches. Miller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Balboa.
Balboa fails to pull guard.
Balboa pulls guard effortlessly. Miller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Balboa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Miller has Balboa in his guard. Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but Balboa is one step ahead there. Miller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Balboa! Miller controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Balboa is squirming around, avoiding Miller's attempts to control the action. Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Balboa has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Miller struggling to land strikes to the head as Balboa covers up. Miller is landing with strikes from the back. Balboa looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Balboa grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. I would not like to be Balboa right now.
Miller working for a choke but Balboa is defending well. Miller is breathing heavily. Miller trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Balboa doesn't escape. Balboa looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Miller is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Balboa is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Miller is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Miller controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balboa is trying to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Miller throwing sloppy strikes. Miller is controlling the position but Balboa somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Balboa is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well. Miller passes the guard and advances to mount! Miller with shots to the head and body - Balboa looks very uncomfortable down there. Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Miller wants to control but instead Balboa manages to regain half guard. Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Miller is looking to take a break and control but Balboa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Steven Miller just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Balboa wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance. Balboa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Steven Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Miller tries to clinch but Balboa moves out of range. Balboa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Miller closes the distance and clinches. Miller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Balboa prevents it.

Miller has control of Balboa's left arm, preventing Balboa from doing any damage. Balboa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Miller is pulling down on Balboa's head. It's preventing any offense from Balboa, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice takedown defense from Balboa. No joy for Miller on that attempt. Miller shoots in and bounces Balboa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Balboa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Balboa has momentary wrist control but Miller slips an elbow through the middle. Miller is stalling in the full guard. Miller drops back looking for a leg! Balboa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Balboa manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Balboa's guard. Balboa keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Balboa is keeping the position for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Balboa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Balboa as Miller shoots in. Balboa is looking to clinch. Balboa shoots in but Miller avoids the takedown attempt easily. Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Balboa which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Balboa tries to work over Miller's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Miller blocks an uppercut.

Balboa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller keeping moving, preventing Balboa from controlling successfully. Miller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Balboa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him. Miller scoring with some ground and pound. Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Miller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Steven Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Miller is pushing down on Balboa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Balboa is fighting to maintain full guard but Miller has managed to sneak the leg through. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miller is really struggling to control Balboa but he's trying to hold on to the position. Balboa wants to stand but Miller has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Miller is controlling Balboa's posture. Miller wants to sweep but no luck. Balboa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but Balboa is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller has control of Balboa's left arm, preventing Balboa from doing any damage.

Miller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Balboa's guard. Balboa working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller advances to half guard. Miller sitting and controlling from the half guard. Balboa regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Miller. Miller forces his way into half guard. Miller works his way into full mount! Miller raining down shots from the mount! Balboa really wants to buck Miller off and get back to his feet. Miller looking to control and managing it successfully. Miller lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Miller controlling the pace for now. Balboa really wants to buck Miller off and get back to his feet. Miller is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Balboa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Miller breaks from Balboa's wrist control and lands an elbow. Miller controlling from the full mount. Balboa is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Balboa is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Miller working away from the top, dropping strikes. Miller is in the full mount, landing strikes. Balboa is squirming around, avoiding Miller's attempts to control the action. Balboa is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Balboa wants to control but Miller is having none of it. Rocky Balboa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Balboa is working to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Steven Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
