Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Tiongson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Mandapat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dave Tiongson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dave Tiongson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandapat rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tiongson counters by clinching up.
Mandapat working hard to break the clinch.
Mandapat misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tiongson.
Tiongson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mandapat prevents it.
Mandapat has Tiongson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tiongson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tiongson fails to pull guard.
Tiongson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mandapat pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Tiongson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tiongson jumps guard but Mandapat stands there with Tiongson around his waist. Tiongson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tiongson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Tiongson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mandapat has him pressed against the cage.
Mandapat wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tiongson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mandapat breaks from the clinch.
Mandapat throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tiongson on the side of the head.
It looks like Dave Tiongson has been cut.

Tiongson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mandapat tries to avoid it but Tiongson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mandapat to the ground. Mandapat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tiongson is breathing heavily.

Tiongson walks into a stiff left hand from Mandapat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tiongson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mandapat breaks the clinch.
Mandapat throws a body punch but Tiongson moves out of range.
Mandapat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tiongson.
Mandapat takes a swing at Tiongson's ribcage but misses.

Tiongson shoots in looking for a takedown. Mandapat tries to sprawl out of it but Tiongson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mandapat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Mandapat cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tiongson looks for a takedown but Mandapat sprawls well.
Tiongson shoots in looking for a takedown. Mandapat tries to sprawl out of it but Tiongson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mandapat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mandapat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mandapat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tiongson manages to avoid it.
Tiongson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mandapat.
Mandapat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mandapat wants it to stay on the feet.

Mandapat punishes Tiongson's body with a nice straight punch.
Mandapat scores with a nice head shot.
Dave Tiongson's cut is getting worse.
Tiongson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tiongson blocks a jab.
Tiongson tries to clinch but Mandapat moves away
and Mandapat counters with a crisp right that sends Tiongson to the canvas! Mandapat follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
