Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bwakanang Disi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Bob is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bwakanang Disi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Bob!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob misses with a takedown

and Disi counters with a takedown into side control.
Bob can't do much from the bottom here.
Disi is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bob's shoulder. That is not cool.
Disi in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Disi tries to advance position but instead Bob slips a leg back in to half guard.
Disi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob wants to improve his position but Disi is controlling well.
Bob wants to control but Disi passes into side.

Disi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bob to his feet.
Disi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bob fails in his attempt to clinch.
Disi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bob but Bob pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Disi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bob gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bob has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bob breaks from the clinch.
Disi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bwakanang Disi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Disi has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bob gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Disi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Disi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Bob thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Disi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Disi tries to get out of the position.
Disi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bob!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob looks gassed!
Bob wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Bob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Disi controlling from mount.
Bob really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Disi working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Disi trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Disi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Disi get's back to his feet.
Disi shoots in but no luck this time.
Bob fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Disi shoots in for a double leg but Bob sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A slapping leg kick lands for Disi.
Bob takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bwakanang Disi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Disi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bob circles away.
Bob throws a head kick that misses

and Disi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Disi decides to return to a standing position.

Disi clinches.
Disi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bob walks away with a smile on his face. Disi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bob misses with a hook. Disi ducked under it nicely.
Bob wants to clinch but Disi slips to the side
and Disi counters with a slapping leg kick.
Disi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bwakanang Disi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Disi shoots in for a takedown but Bob shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bob closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Disi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bob throws a sloppy head kick

and Disi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Disi.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bob has a closed guard, preventing Disi from standing up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Disi won't allow Bob to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Disi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bob's head.
Disi won't allow Bob to sweep him here.
Disi stops Bob from standing up.
Disi is stalling in the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Disi wants to stand but Bob is controlling his posture from full guard.
Disi wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Bwakanang Disi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bob shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Disi defends it nicely.
Disi lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bob takes a step back to recover.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Disi gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Disi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bob uses from the top position.
Disi wants to sweep here but Bob controlling him for the moment.
Disi wants to stand and escape but Bob is having none of it.
Disi pulls Bob in close to prevent any damage.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bob postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bob trying to control the position from guard on top but Disi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bwakanang Disi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Disi shoots in and gets a takedown into Bob's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Disi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Disi works his way into full mount!
Disi controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bwakanang Disi dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Disi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bob napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Disi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bob for as long as he can get away with.
Bob is not content to let Disi control the position.
Bob takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Disi is really struggling to control Bob but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bwakanang Disi wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Disi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bob's head.
Bob takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Disi.
Horrible takedown by Disi or perhaps it was just good defense by Bob which made him look bad.
Disi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Disi wants to clinch up but Bob keeps it at a distance.
Bob shoots in looking for a takedown but Disi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bob's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bob takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Disi misses with a double jab.

Disi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Bob tries to roll over but Disi keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bwakanang Disi.

Disi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bob!

Disi in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Bob can't escape the position.

Disi working for a submission but Bob is keeping him at bay.
Disi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Disi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bwakanang Disi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Disi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
