Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Murdocco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Soulja boy - crank that. Nick Murdocco could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brock Emelianenko's chin.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Murdocco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Emelianenko won't allow Murdocco to get back to his feet.
Murdocco has momentary wrist control but Emelianenko slips an elbow through the middle.
Murdocco keeping full guard, as Emelianenko tries to pass.
Emelianenko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Murdocco wants to get back to his feet but Emelianenko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Murdocco utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Murdocco is breathing heavily.
Murdocco keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Murdocco scores with a nice body kick.
Murdocco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Murdocco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Emelianenko takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Murdocco takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Murdocco uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Murdocco tries to sprawl out of it but Emelianenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murdocco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Emelianenko misses with a looping right.
Emelianenko throws a right and a left that Murdocco avoids nicely.
Emelianenko blocks a head kick by Murdocco.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Murdocco, right into the meat.
Murdocco stuffs the takedown attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko gets slowly back to his feet.
Nick Murdocco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Emelianenko.
Murdocco misses with the combination.
Murdocco scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Murdocco digs a good body shot into Emelianenko's ribs.
Murdocco closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Emelianenko sneaks back into half guard.
Murdocco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Emelianenko on the ground.

Emelianenko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Emelianenko.

Emelianenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Emelianenko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Murdocco is bucking up trying to escape but Emelianenko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Emelianenko looking to secure an arm triangle but Murdocco defends it well.
Murdocco tries to lock up and control but Emelianenko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Murdocco is desperately trying to improve his position but Emelianenko has a good base and remains in mount.

Emelianenko working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Murdocco looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Emelianenko! Submission of the night perhaps?
