Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bali Mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eddie Alvarez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Alvarez! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alvarez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mo has Alvarez in his guard. Alvarez pushing down on Mo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Alvarez jumps into side control! Mo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Mo wants to get back to full guard. Mo regains full guard. Nicely done. Alvarez being controlled here momentarily.

Mo tries to land a sweep but no joy. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Mo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mo wants to improve his position but instead Alvarez has moved into half guard.
Mo wants to get back to full guard but Alvarez has passed into side control. Mo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Alvarez off and has taken his back! Mo seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Alvarez's chin but Alvarez turns very nicely into Mo's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Alvarez.
Mo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Alvarez has picked Mo up and slammed him! Mo can't keep hold of the triangle and Alvarez manages to pass to side control!

Mo is trying to get back to half guard. Mo gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Alvarez prevents Mo from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Alvarez avoids the attempt from Mo to control. Mo wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Alvarez keeps control of the position as Mo tries to break free.
Alvarez doesn't have the hooks in and Mo manages to turn into his guard.
Mo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Alvarez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Alvarez has escaped and now he's on top! Mo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mo. Alvarez manages to capitalize on a mistake by Mo to take his back! Alvarez is trying to stick to Mo's back but Mo is turning into Alvarez. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Alvarez's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mo.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Eddie Alvarez. Well Alvarez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
