Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bwakanang Disi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Darrell Abbott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bwakanang Disi!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Abbott misses with a left hand
and Disi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Disi scores with a three punch combo!
Abbott throws an off balance right hand

and Disi moves into the clinch.
Abbott wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Disi has him pressed against the cage.
Abbott has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Abbott is trying to push Disi away but Disi has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Disi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Disi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

and Disi counters with a good, hard body kick but Abbott shrugs it off.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Disi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Disi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Disi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Abbott can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Disi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Disi shoots in looking for a takedown. Abbott tries to sprawl out of it but Disi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abbott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Abbott stands up from Disi's guard - Abbott perhaps looking for a knockout.
Abbott keeps the fight on the outside.
Disi walks into a straight right hand from Abbott.
Disi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Abbott circles away.
Abbott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Disi circles away quickly and effectively.

and Disi counters with a good low kick that Abbott was not able to check.
Disi tries to close the distance and clinch but Abbott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Disi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abbott pinned against the cage. Abbott gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Abbott connects with a body shot that sends Disi's belly button to the back.
Abbott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
