Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kamikaze Sazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Henrykowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michal Henrykowski has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kamikaze Sazuki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamikaze Sazuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michal Henrykowski!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henrykowski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and Sazuki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Henrykowski tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Sazuki counters with a shoot takedown. Henrykowski fights it but they end up in guard.

Sazuki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Henrykowski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sazuki has Henrykowski in his guard.
Henrykowski wants to stand but Sazuki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sazuki wants to get back to his feet but Henrykowski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sazuki has control of Henrykowski's left arm, preventing Henrykowski from doing any damage.

Kamikaze Sazuki has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sazuki shoots in looking for a takedown. Henrykowski tries to sprawl out of it but Sazuki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henrykowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamikaze Sazuki. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Sazuki counters by moving into the clinch.
Sazuki is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Henrykowski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Sazuki jumps guard but Henrykowski stands there with Sazuki around his waist. Sazuki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sazuki has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Henrykowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sazuki is controlling him.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Sazuki walks into a stiff left hand from Henrykowski.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sazuki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Henrykowski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well Sazuki has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
