Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rory Tuckson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Alves is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Alves!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Tuckson with that takedown attempt.
Tuckson shoots in looking for a takedown but Alves manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tuckson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tuckson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Alves tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tuckson is looking to work some ground and pound but Alves has wrist control.
Tuckson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tuckson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Tuckson throws a strike but Alves rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tuckson is adopting a defensive guard.
Tuckson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alves is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Alves avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tuckson has his foot on Alves's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alves works his way back into a safe position though.
Alves wants to control from the top but Tuckson keeps moving.
Alves pushes down on Tuckson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Tuckson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tuckson is breathing heavily.
Tuckson wants to sweep but Alves has passed to side control!
Alves trying to control the action but Tuckson is working from the bottom.
Alves tries to stand but Tuckson is controlling his head.
Tuckson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tuckson tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alves wants to control but Tuckson is keeping him busy.
Tuckson wants to control but Alves postures up.
Alves advances to full mount.
Alves prevents Tuckson from getting the reversal.
Alves scoring with strikes but Tuckson is staying in there.
It looks like Rory Tuckson has been cut.
Tuckson is looking to improve his position but Alves isn't that keen on the idea.
Alves lands a big shot there that rocks Tuckson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rory Tuckson's cut is getting worse.
Tuckson is squirming around, avoiding Alves's attempts to control the action.
Tuckson can't escape the position.
Tuckson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground.

Alves with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Alves has hold of Tuckson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tuckson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Tuckson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Tuckson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Tuckson tries to hold on but Alves pushes him away.

Tuckson is looking to improve his position but Alves isn't that keen on the idea.
Alves misses with a head shot.
Alves lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tuckson hang on?
Jeez, Rory Tuckson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rory Tuckson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
