Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between TJ Roode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roode falls off balance throwing a combination

and Wolfe counters with a nice right hand that sends Roode toppling to the canvas! Roode scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Wolfe finish him?!

It looks like TJ Roode has been cut.
Wolfe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Roode throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wolfe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fight stays on the outside here - Roode looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Roode works over Wolfe's head and body with a nice combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roode doesn't manage to clinch there - Wolfe circles away.

Roode stuffs the takedown attempt from Wolfe. Wolfe gets slowly back to his feet.
Roode shoots for a double leg takedown but Wolfe sprawls well. He's pushed Roode's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Roode ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Wolfe is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Roode's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Roode postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Wolfe to stand up.

Wolfe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Wolfe clinches up with Roode and pushes him back against the cage.

Roode has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wolfe clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wolfe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roode as he avoids it easily.

Roode manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Wolfe wants to control but Roode is keeping him busy.

Wolfe wants to free his trapped foot but Roode is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Damian Wolfe has got the better of the ground game so far.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Roode will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wolfe avoids the head kick by Roode.
Roode shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wolfe sprawls well. Wolfe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roode gets slowly back to his feet.

With the fighters up against the cage, Roode throws an elbow but misses.

I would just about give that final round to Damian Wolfe.
Well Wolfe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
