Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronin Ryota!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ryota checks a leg kick.
Sattler tries to bum rush Ryota with a series of wild strikes but Ryota uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ryota shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ryota showed some decent athleticism there.
Ryota not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ryota is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ryota has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ryota connects with a nice short shot to Sattler's temple.
Sattler tries to get to full guard but Ryota has control of the leg.
Ryota seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ryota turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ryota manages to end up in side control.

Ryota throws a strike aimed at the side of Sattler's head but Sattler avoids it well.

Ryota decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Ryota moves to clinch but Sattler breaks away
and Sattler counters with a series of strikes. Ryota will be more careful next time no doubt.
Good leg kick by Sattler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sattler moves out of range as Ryota throws a body kick.

and Sattler counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

That kick from Sattler tenderised Ryota's leg. Ryota is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ryota closes the distance and clinches up with Sattler, looking for a takedown. Ryota pushes Sattler against the cage but Sattler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sattler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ryota's guard.
Sattler is keen to just control but Ryota is a slippery customer.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sattler wants to pass to mount but Ryota is defending the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sattler feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ryotas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ryota looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sattler is trying to stand.
Ryota stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Ryota keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sattler's efforts to push away.

letting Sattler counter with a right hand.
Sattler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ryota is pulling down on Sattler's head. It's preventing any offense from Sattler, at least for the moment.

Ronin Ryota showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
