Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanngrisnir tries to close the distance and clinch but Widow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Widow shoots in for a takedown but Tanngrisnir shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Widow wants to clinch but Tanngrisnir slips to the side
and Tanngrisnir counters with a nice double leg into side control. Widow won't be happy with that.
Widow is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Widow gets full guard.
Tanngrisnir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Widow on the ground.
Widow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tanngrisnir could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Widow is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tanngrisnir has his hands clasped together but Widow extends an breaks Tanngrisnir's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Widow.
