Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Northman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drako Vladamir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drako Vladamir will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northman swings for the body but Vladamir moves out of range.
Vladamir misses with a series of wild punches.
Northman closes the distance and clinches.
Northman is working for takedown but Vladamir is calmly controlling the position for now.
Vladamir is trying to push Northman away but Northman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Vladamir is trying to break the clinch but Northman has him pressed against the cage.
Vladamir drags the fight down to the ground.
Northman stops Vladamir from standing up.

Vladamir is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Northman is controlling him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Northman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vladamir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vladamir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Northman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Northman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vladamir can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vladamir wants to hold on but Northman pushes him away.

It looks like Drako Vladamir has been cut.

Northman looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Vladamir covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
