The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D throws a lazy uppercut
and Foote counters with a nice uppercut.
D with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Foote uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from D.
Foote fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
D throws a hook but Foote avoids it easily.
Foote fails with a takedown attempt.
Foote tries a low kick but D avoids it.

Foote misses with a hook to the body
and D counters with an outside leg kick.
Man D is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
D rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Foote counter with a right hand.
Good exchange - D coming out on top.

It looks like Clint Foote has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Foote swings away with a body shot that misses
and D counters with a slapping leg kick.

D tries to clinch but Foote is having none of it.

D fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Foote takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
D scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
D misses with a wild combination.
D ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Foote moves away.
D is looking to chop away at Foote's legs.

D misses with a low kick.
D throws a leg kick which misses Foote's front leg but catches the back leg as Foote tries to avoid it.
Foote uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by D.
D thows a body shot but no joy.
D tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Foote was well out of range. Poor timing from D.
D throws a push kick but Foote slaps the foot to one side.

and D counters with a crisp right hand that drops Foote! D lets Foote back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Clint Foote's cut is getting worse.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
D throws a predictable looking body shot
and Foote counters with a stiff right hand.
D misses with a double jab
and Foote counters with a lovely straight right hand!
D throws a lazy uppercut
and Foote counters with a right hand to the body.

D has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
D is struggling to control the position.
D pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man D dominated that round.

That's time! Foote's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

D throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Foote throws a good cross that connects.

D cracks Foote with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Foote looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can D finish him?

Clint Foote's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

D rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Foote counters with a lovely straight right hand!
D has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Foote throws the left hand but D avoids the punch easily.

Foote tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but D was well out of range. Poor timing from Foote.
Foote shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with D but D pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Foote looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Foote looks to score with a jab to the body but D is just out of range.
D misses with a hook to the body
and Foote counters with a left to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
D scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Foote blocks a head kick by D.
D misses with a few strikes there.
Foote moves out of range of the body kick from D.
Foote fails to land with a series of punches.
Foote fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clint Foote. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foote lunges at D with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by D's hand.

Foote fakes high and swings low for a body shot but D manages to avoid it.
Foote tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
D looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
D tries to close the distance and clinch but Foote swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

D misses with an uppercut.

Foote is looking to chop away at D's legs.
Foote misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from D.
Foote lands with a good body shot.
Foote is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Foote. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
D looks to land a left hand but Foote moved out of range nicely.
