No joy there for Hatred, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fairtex tries to close the distance and clinch but Hatred swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hatred shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fairtex pinned against the cage. Fairtex gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hatred dives in and grabs Fairtex's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fairtex pushes down on Hatred's head and hops out.
Hatred fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fairtex avoids it really well and circles away.

Hatred avoids the head kick by Fairtex.
Hatred with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fairtex to score with a decent uppercut.
Fairtex takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hatred tries to clinch but Fairtex moves away
and Fairtex counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Fairtex looks at the referee who does nothing so Fairtex lands a crushing right that sends Hatred to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
