Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Godfrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godfrey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Svensson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Godfrey is in Svensson's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Svensson holds on and takes a little breather.
Svensson wants to stand up but Godfrey is controlling him.
Godfrey is pushing down on Svensson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Svensson is fighting to maintain full guard but Godfrey has managed to sneak the leg through.

Godfrey tries to control Svensson's body but Svensson pushes him off. Godfrey squirms to his side and now Svensson has his back!
Godfrey breaks Svensson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Sven Svensson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Godfrey tries for a takedown but Svensson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Godfrey shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Svensson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Godfrey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Svensson is just riding it out for now. Godfrey eventually gives up the hold.
Godfrey winds up and cracks Svensson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Godfrey decides to return to a standing position.

Hector Godfrey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Godfrey scores with a nice hook to the head.
Godfrey works on Svensson's body with a couple of short punches.
Godfrey blocks an elbow strike from Svensson.
Godfrey breaks from the clinch.
Godfrey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Svensson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Svensson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Godfrey's waist but Godfrey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Svensson off to one side.
A punch lands to the side of Svensson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Godfrey tries to clinch up but Svensson circles away and keeps his distance.
And that's the end of the fight!
Hector Godfrey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Godfrey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
