Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roman Polak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Buesching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Polak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Buesching!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polak lands an overhand right.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Polak looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Buesching decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Buesching is thwarting Polak's attempts to control the position.
Polak is positioning himself well to prevent Buesching advancing to mount.

Roman Polak has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Polak for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Roman Polak.

Buesching shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Polak defends it nicely.

Buesching is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Polak is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Polak has escaped and now he's on top!

Buesching looking to sit in guard and control but Polak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Polak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Polak fails to land with a series of punches.

Polak shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Buesching eats them both and turns towards Polak to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Polak is working an open guard so Buesching takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roman Polak will probably get the nod.

Buesching walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Polak lands a nice shot that snaps Buesching's head back.

and Buesching counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Polak's guard now.
Robin Buesching has got the better of the ground game so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Polak is on top in guard.

Polak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buesching keeps working.

Polak seems to be looking for submissions.
Polak wants to pass to mount but Buesching is defending the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Polak is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Buesching is looking to get to half guard.
Polak works his way to his opponent's back.
Polak is riding his opponent, not letting Buesching buck him off.

Polak patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Buesching is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Buesching breaks Polak's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roman Polak showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Polak has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
