Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rogerio Roger! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to clinch but Roger is having none of it. Roger tries for a takedown but Jackson circles away easily and Jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Roger takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Roger looks gassed! Roger on the wrong end of a nice hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Roger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Roger is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jackson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Peter Jackson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Roger doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Roger takes one to the chin there. Roger is breathing heavily. Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Donk. Jackson catches Roger right on the button with a cross.

Jackson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Roger can do to turn this around? Jackson wants to clinch. Peter Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

It looks like Rogerio Roger has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Roger walks into a stiff left hand from Jackson. Jackson lands with a shot to the body.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Roger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jackson connects with a single shot there. Roger keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a right and a left that Roger avoids nicely. Roger fails with the takedown so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson passes into half guard. Jackson slows the pace down in half guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Roger is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson drops an elbow to the side of Roger's head. Jackson with the ground and pound but Roger uses the opportunity to regain guard. Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Roger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Jackson postures up in Roger's guard and throws a big left but Roger blocks it. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Roger gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Roger is proving a slippery customer.
Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roger! Jackson trying to control but Roger is having none of it.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Jackson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jackson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
