Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Popov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar tries to close the distance and clinch but Popov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A head kick from Caesar lands but Popov takes it in his stride.
Popov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Popov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Caesar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Caesar digs a right hand into Popov's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Popov's gas tank.
