Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Line (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Steinburger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Line kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Human Cannonball. Steinburger has chosen Throw the Jew down the well as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Line! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Steinburger! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steinburger misses with a looping left. Steinburger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steinburger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Line. Line checks a low kick from Steinburger. Steinburger throws out a loose jab but Line uses good head movement to avoid it. Line swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steinburger wants to land a leg kick but Line is out of range. Steinburger misses with a leg kick and Line counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Line throws a strike but Steinburger rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Steinburger trying to control but Line is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steinburger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Line swivels though and keeps the full guard. Steinburger wants to stand and escape but instead Line has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Line with a flurry of punches that miss. Line throwing strikes but missing. Steinburger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Line.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Steinburger looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Line scoring with punches to the head and body. Line stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steinburger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Line trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Line controlling from the top position. Line throwing strikes from guard but Steinburger blocks nicely. Line postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Line throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Line is working Steinburger over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Line in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Steinburger looking to control.
Line tries to free his leg and advance position but Steinburger is retaining full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Line throwing strikes but missing. Line in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Line sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Steinburger's guard. Line thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Line thumps the canvas. Steinburger tries to get to full guard but Line has control of the leg. Line is thwarting Steinburger's attempts to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steinburger can do anything to dispel that myth. Line missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Steinburger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Line. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Line is nestled in close to Steinburger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Line is stalling here. Steinburger is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Line seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Steinburger has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Line is positioning himself to get back to half guard. and Line counters with a left to the body. Line ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steinburger moves away. Steinburger throws a leg kick and Line connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Line blocks a head kick by Steinburger.
A low kick from Steinburger misses and Line counters with a straight right hand. Line misses with a wild body shot. A head kick misses from Steinburger. Charles Steinburger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body punch from Line. Steinburger is breathing heavily. Line ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Line is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Steinburger throws a body punch but Line moves out of range. Line throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Line works Steinburger's body with a nice hook. Line darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Charles Steinburger has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Line drives through with a takedown into Steinburger's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Steinburger avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Line trying to control but Steinburger is working from the bottom. Line has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Steinburger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Line sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steinburger defending well though. Line missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Line works his way into side control. Steinburger takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Line wants to control but Steinburger is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steinburger struggling a bit here. Line cracks Steinburger with a big elbow. Steinburger takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Steinburger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Line. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Steinburger managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Line.
Line wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steinburger keeps working. Steinburger is trying to escape the position but Line is controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Line wants to control but Steinburger is keeping him busy. and Line makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Line's corner calls for a 1-2. Line obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Line dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Line fails with the takedown. Line looks to score with a jab to the body but Steinburger is just out of range. Steinburger jabs Line right on the nose. Line blinks but takes it well. Line drops his hands momentarily and Steinburger takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Line lands a slapping body shot.
Steinburger throws a leg kick that is checked and Line counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Line. Steinburger being controlled here, momentarily. Line throwing strikes but missing.

Line trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Line in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Line lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Steinburger is bucking up trying to escape but Line cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That has opened up Charles Steinburger's cut even more. Line thowing shots but they're missing. Steinburger is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Line punishing his opponent with strikes.

Charles Steinburger's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Charles Steinburger's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
