Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
and Heimdall counters with a stiff right hand.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Heimdall sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie is thwarting Heimdall's attempts to control the position.
Heimdall is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gracie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Heimdall is doing well to control the position and prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Khyen Heimdall.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Heimdall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
