Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khyen Heimdall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Khyen Heimdall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Gracie! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie misses with a takedown attempt and Heimdall counters with a stiff right hand. Gracie misses with a takedown and Heimdall counters with a straight right hand. A jab from Heimdall misses. Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Heimdall sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gracie is thwarting Heimdall's attempts to control the position. Heimdall is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gracie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Heimdall is doing well to control the position and prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Khyen Heimdall. Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Heimdall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Khyen Heimdall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Gracie. Heimdall working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Heimdall wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie looking to control.
Gracie looks gassed! Heimdall tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Heimdall from controlling successfully. Gracie looking to control but Heimdall passes into half guard.
Heimdall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, if Heimdall is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Heimdall tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie trying to control here.
Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as Heimdall sits in half guard. Gracie holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Khyen Heimdall wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gracie fails with the takedown and Heimdall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heimdall sitting in guard, not really doing much. Heimdall wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Gracie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie shoots and misses so Heimdall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Heimdall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie is trying to control the position but Heimdall postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gracie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Heimdall kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Arthur Gracie wasn't active enough on the ground. Gracie has his takedown stuffed and Heimdall counters with a single leg into guard. Gracie didn't expect that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Heimdall is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khyen Heimdall dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Heimdall circles away easily and Heimdall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that. Heimdall working away. Gracie is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Heimdall is staying active.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Arthur Gracie was stalling too much, according to the referee. Heimdall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie shoots and misses and Heimdall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that. Gracie can't do much from the bottom here. A control attempt from Gracie but he's now mounted! Heimdall avoids the attempt from Gracie to control. Gracie is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gracie is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gracie taking shots to the head. Gracie tries to lock up and control but Heimdall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heimdall is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gracie is surviving well by controlling Heimdall's body position as best he can. That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie tries to hold on but Heimdall postures up. Gracie slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Gracie trying to control from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Arthur Gracie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Heimdall shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khyen Heimdall dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Gracie tries for a takedown but Heimdall circles away easily and Heimdall counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gracie! Gracie wants to hold on but Heimdall pushes him away. Heimdall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around? Gracie is looking to improve his position but Heimdall isn't that keen on the idea. Heimdall avoids the attempt from Gracie to control. Khyen Heimdall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Heimdall looking to control and managing it successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gracie tries to hold on but Heimdall postures up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heimdall takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gracie wants to hold on but Heimdall pushes him away. Gracie is looking to get to half guard. Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Heimdall looking for a sweep. Not yet Heimdall, not yet.

And that's the end of the fight! Khyen Heimdall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Heimdall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
