Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tu Vok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Crino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crino has chosen halo as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tu Vok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Crino!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vok connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Crino's hands.
Crino misses with a hook.
Vok misses with a lunging right hand

and Crino counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Vok can't keep his opponent in guard - Crino advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Vok keeping hold of Crino's head, controlling as best he can.
Crino thows a huge punch but Vok dodges it nicely.
Crino slows the pace down in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Michael Crino has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Vok sizes up Crino with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Vok misses with an uppercut
letting Crino counter with a right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vok throws a lazy uppercut
and Crino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Vok misses with a lunging right hand
and Crino counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vok is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Crino catches Vok napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Vok to the canvas!


Vok is rocked!
Crino stands and throws Vok's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Oh Vok is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A lull in the action here as Crino stalls from top position.
Vok seems to have got his legs back now.
Crino throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crino controls the position.

Crino tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Crino throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
An elbow from Crino crashes against the mat.
Crino sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Vok is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vok tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crino wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Crino throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The strikes coming from Crino are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The referee asks Crino politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Crino prefers to stall for the moment though.
Vok avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Crino.
Crino is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like Crino might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Crino fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Crino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vok looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Vok on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vok tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crino misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Crino has an Americana. Vok didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Crino is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Crino hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Michael Crino!
