Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Dunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Remy Dunga!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunga throws an off balance right hand
and Kent counters with a big head kick but Dunga shrugs it off.
Dunga takes a swing at Kent's ribcage but misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dunga misses with an uppercut
and Kent counters with a thumping low kick.
Dunga shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kent eats them both and turns towards Dunga to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dunga checks a leg kick.
Dunga fails to land with a series of punches.
Kent throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dunga throws out a loose jab but Kent uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kent throws a leg kick but Dunga checks it.
Kent misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from Dunga misses.
A punch combination from Dunga misses.
A slow jab from Dunga misses its intended target.
Kent throws a solid leg kick but Dunga takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kent.
A punch combination from Dunga misses.
Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kent throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A slow jab from Dunga misses its intended target.
Dunga throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kent sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dunga rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kent counters with a flying knee. Nice.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dunga enables Kent to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dunga manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kent missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dunga preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kent won't allow Dunga to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kent wants to control from the top but Dunga keeps moving.

Kent throws a big right hand that misses.
Kent stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dunga swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kent stops Dunga from standing up.

Dunga wants to get back to his feet but Kent is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kent gets the takedown into side control.
Dunga tries to escape but Kent is in control.
Kent has knee on belly momentarily but Dunga bucks him off and regains half guard.
Dunga looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Kent dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Dunga looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dunga throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No luck for Kent with that takedown attempt.
Dunga looks to land a right hand but Kent moved out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunga waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kent.
Dunga jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dunga throws a poor cross that misses

so Kent counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kent in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kent postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kent pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dunga is keeping the position for now.
Kent passes Dunga's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kent thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dunga's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dunga keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kent works his way into side control.
Kent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dunga keeps working.
Kent has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Kent thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Kent wants to control the pace but Dunga is squirming around nicely.
Dunga wants to try and get back to his feet.
Kent thowing shots but they're missing.
Dunga holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kent tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kent looking to control and managing it successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kent misses with a head shot.
Dunga is trying to stand.
Kent punching from mount but Dunga doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kent lands a big elbow.
Kent putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Kent dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Dunga looks to score with a jab to the body but Kent is just out of range.


It looks like Remy Dunga has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Kent.
Kent is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dunga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dunga will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dunga might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Kent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dunga blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kent.
Dunga is trying to stand.
Kent frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kent thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kent has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dunga's face.
Kent thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Kent throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The referee warns Dunga that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


That has opened up Remy Dunga's cut even more.
Kent is landing with some decent strikes but Dunga is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.


The cut above Remy Dunga's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jim Kent overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dunga is squirming around, avoiding Kent's attempts to control the action.
Kent landing strikes, looking to finish!


Remy Dunga's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Remy Dunga's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jim Kent!
