Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitris Vittorino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Peter Mendoza has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Mendoza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dimitris Vittorino ! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendoza throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vittorino . Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mendoza tries to clinch up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mendoza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendoza buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vittorino looks gassed! Mendoza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vittorino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Vittorino circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendoza closes the distance looking to clinch and Vittorino counters with a shoot takedown. Mendoza fights it but they end up in guard. Mendoza manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vittorino manages to get himself to full guard.
Mendoza gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mendoza tries to close the distance and clinch but Vittorino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mendoza moves in looking to clinch but Vittorino pushes him off. Mendoza moves to clinch but Vittorino breaks away and Vittorino counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mendoza won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendoza gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Mendoza tries to kick Vittorino off but Vittorino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Mendoza keeps control of the position for the meantime. Mendoza regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Peter Mendoza will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mendoza motions for Vittorino to come forward. Mendoza throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mendoza looks to clinch and Vittorino counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vittorino is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vittorino wants to control from the top but Mendoza keeps moving. Mendoza pulls Vittorino in close to his closed guard and prevents Vittorino from doing any damage or advancing position. Mendoza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vittorino 's guard. Mendoza tries to stand but Vittorino is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vittorino is working an open guard so Mendoza takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Peter Mendoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mendoza throws a low kick but Vittorino moves out of range easily. Peter Mendoza is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mendoza fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mendoza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vittorino paws at him with a jab and circles away. Vittorino with a poor takedown and Mendoza counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vittorino thinking. Mendoza connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vittorino keeps the fight on the outside. Mendoza is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mendoza tries to clinch but Vittorino moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Mendoza dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Vittorino shoots in looking for a takedown. Mendoza tries to sprawl out of it but Vittorino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mendoza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vittorino takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Vittorino takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mendoza tries to clinch but Vittorino is having none of it. A nice leg kick lands there from Mendoza. Mendoza tries to clinch but Vittorino moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendoza is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mendoza tries to clinch up but Vittorino circles away and keeps his distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendoza is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vittorino is controlling him. Mendoza pushes Vittorino off and gets back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Mendoza. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mendoza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
