Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Done Anddone! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick. Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Anddone. Anddone misses with an attempted mid kick.
Anddone throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Anddone fails to land with a series of punches.
Anddone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Anddone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anddone throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Jones throws a front kick aimed at Anddone's knee but Anddone avoids it well. Nice straight punches there by Anddone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Anddone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anddone jabbing away but nothing is landing. An inside leg kick from Anddone misses. Anddone misses the body punch and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anddone's guard. Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones postures up and lands a big shot to Anddone's brow. Anddone is wriggling around but Jones manages to pass to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anddone can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones winds up and cracks Anddone with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anddone wants to get back to his feet. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones working Anddone over with strikes. Anddone looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Anddone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Anddone is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is nestled in close to Anddone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones controlling the pace. Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Anddone for as long as he can get away with. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eric Jones. Anddone misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jones moves nicely into side control. Jones landing a few strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones is staying tight to Anddone's torso, preventing him from escaping. Anddone taking a bit of punishment here - Jones scoring with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anddone takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Jones dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Anddone is trying to break free. Anddone wants to break the clinch but can't.

Jones has Anddone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Anddone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Anddone wants to break free but Jones has control.
Anddone tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage. Anddone tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anddone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones lands a body shot in the clinch.
Anddone is breathing heavily. Anddone manages to break the clinch.
Anddone misses with the combination.
Done Anddone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anddone throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anddone throws a head kick that misses. Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Jones is in close to Anddone's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anddone wants to get back to his feet but Jones passes into half guard.
Jones lands strikes from half guard. Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Still in half guard, Jones seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones working over Anddone with some ground and pound. Anddone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jones passes the guard and advances to mount! Jones controlling from mount. Jones looking to finish Anddone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Anddone! Jones breaks from Anddone's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones lands a big shot there that rocks Anddone but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Anddone has left one of his arms exposed and Jones doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Anddone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
