The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piligracio fails with the takedown
and Jay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Jay counters with a big uppercut that knocks Piligracio off his feet! Jay dives into side control looking to finish!

Piligracio is rocked!

It looks like Juan Piligracio has been cut.
Piligracio manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Piligracio is still in real trouble! Can Jay finish him?

Piligracio seems to be working for a kimura but Jay defends the submission attempt.
Piligracio seems to have recovered his senses.
Piligracio thows a huge punch but Jay dodges it nicely.

Piligracio is working for a kimura here but Jay manages to reverse the position and he's now in Piligracio's guard.

Jay drops back looking for a leg! Piligracio is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Piligracio manages to kick Jay off! Jay jumps back into Piligracio's guard.

Jay is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Piligracio has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jay is looking to defend but Piligracio has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jay! Piligracio pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jay taps out and this one is all over!
