Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tam Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doros Dimisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tam Zeus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tam Zeus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Doros Dimisco!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimisco wants to clinch
so Zeus counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Zeus sitting in guard here, content to control.
Zeus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Zeus forces his way into half guard.
Zeus is looking to advance position but Dimisco won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Zeus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Zeus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dimisco is just riding it out for now. Zeus eventually gives up the hold.
Zeus wants to free his trapped foot but Dimisco is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Zeus is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tam Zeus.
Dimisco tries to clinch up
and Zeus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zeus.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zeus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zeus pushes down on Dimisco's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Zeus works his foot free and advances to mount.
Zeus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Zeus has control of Dimisco's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dimisco regains control of the situation pretty easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tam Zeus dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Zeus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dimisco makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dimisco takes a swing at Zeus's ribcage but misses.
Dimisco moves to clinch but Zeus breaks away
and Zeus counters with a shoot takedown. Dimisco fights it but they end up in guard.
Zeus stays in close to Dimisco's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zeus trying to control but Dimisco is working from the bottom.
Zeus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Zeus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dimisco manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Zeus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Zeus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dimisco to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dimisco shrugs it off.
Zeus looking for a guillotine from mount but Dimisco is having none of it.
Zeus goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dimisco is on top in guard.

Zeus has Dimisco pulled in close to control his posture.
Zeus is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Dimisco frees his head nicely. Oh but Zeus has switched to an armbar! Dimisco is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
