Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akula shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense.
Akula shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the cage. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone throws a one two combo.
It looks like Max Akula has been cut.
Max Akula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stone drops Akula with a beautiful combination! Akula stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stone is looking for the KO!
Akula is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Akula is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
Akula seems to have got his legs back now.
Akula dodges the punch combination from Stone.
Akula closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Akula. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone throws a right and a left that Akula avoids nicely.
Stone lands a left and a right that send Akula crashing to the mat, dazed. Stone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sloppy strikes from Stone. Those never looked like landing.
Akula shoots and misses
and Stone counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Akula has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
