9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marco Vlay! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Velilkov. Velilkov is looking to take a break and control but Vlay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vlay is trying to control Velilkov's posture but Velilkov avoids it. Velilkov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vlay rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Velilkov's guard! Nice work there by Vlay! Velilkov manages to get full guard. Vlay is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Vlay drops back looking for a leg! Velilkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Velilkov manages to kick Vlay off! Vlay jumps back into Velilkov's guard.

Vlay sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Velilkov's guard. Vlay seems to be looking for submissions.
