Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Jankauskas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy shoots in and gets a takedown into Jankauskas's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jankauskas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Boy controls the pace.
Jankauskas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jankauskas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boy postures up in Jankauskas's guard and throws a big left but Jankauskas blocks it.
Jankauskas wriggles free and stands up.

and Jankauskas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Jankauskas tries for a takedown but Boy manages to get underhooks.
Jankauskas is pressed up against the cage. Boy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jankauskas down to the mat. Jankauskas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Boy throws a combination that misses
and Jankauskas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Boy throws a strike but Jankauskas avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Jankauskas is looking to stand up but Boy isn't so interested in that idea.
Boy wants to control from the top but Jankauskas keeps moving.

Jankauskas is working an open guard so Boy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Boy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jankauskas to the mat! Jankauskas manages to get full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boy stands up over Jankauskas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Boy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Boy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jankauskas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Boy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jankauskas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jankauskas wants to get back to his feet but Boy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Boy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boy lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Boy wants to stand but Jankauskas is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Boy dominated that round.
That's time! Jankauskas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Boy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jankauskas takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Boy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Let's hope that Boy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
