Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Hiiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Levi James has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Levi James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Hiiri! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from James.
No joy there for James, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hiiri lands a nice elbow. James wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A shot in the inside from Hiiri. James is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hiiri lands with a left to the head. Nice body punch from Hiiri. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hiiri breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hiiri rushes James and presses him up against the cage. Hiiri turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! James is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hiiri connects with a decent elbow. Hiiri working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hiiri moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. James is not content to let Hiiri control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. James is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hiiri remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. James takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Hiiri is looking to take a break and control but James is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hiiri grinds an elbow into James's temple. Hiiri gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hiiri stalls. Hiiri gets through James's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Hiiri breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hiiri is pressing down on James's thigh, looking to free his foot. James is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James is trying to stand.
Hiiri is trying to control the action in half guard but James is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. James avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hiiri.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. James falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hiiri counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for James! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James taking shots to the head. You get the feeling that James really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hiiri is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. James can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
James tries to buck Hiiri off but he can't manage it. Hiiri lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. James wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Hiiri cracks James with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
James is squirming around, avoiding Hiiri's attempts to control the action. James really wants to buck Hiiri off and get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hiiri takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hiiri breaks from the clinch.

and Hiiri counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for James! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! James is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Mikko Hiiri showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

This has been an exciting period of action! with the fighters clinched against the cage, Hiiri creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. James throws a combination that misses and Hiiri decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in James's guard. James wants to stand up but Hiiri is controlling him. James uses the cage to get back to his feet.
James dances in with a quick combination. Hiiri is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from James snaps Hiiri's head back. Hiiri stumbles backwards against the cage. James steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Hiiri's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Hiiri just didn't come prepared.
