Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jenson Rawlins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Luciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luciano has chosen The Mechanic as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jenson Rawlins has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano wants to clinch but Rawlins slips to the side
and Rawlins counters with a shoot takedown. Luciano fights it but they end up in guard.
Rawlins trying to control the position from guard on top but Luciano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rawlins is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rawlins is looking to advance position but Luciano has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Luciano can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rawlins is looking to escape.

so Rawlins counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rawlins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Luciano manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rawlins has Luciano in his guard.

Rawlins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luciano tries to avoid it but Rawlins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luciano to the ground. Luciano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Luciano is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rawlins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Luciano is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rawlins has just dragged him back down to the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jenson Rawlins.
I think Rawlins has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
