The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockzo clinches up with Diaz and pushes him back against the cage.
Rockzo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rockzo takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Diaz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Diaz cracks Rockzo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Poor strikes thrown by Diaz there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Rockzo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diaz sprawls well initially but Rockzo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rockzo has control of Diaz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diaz regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Doctor Rockzo will probably get the nod.

Rockzo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Diaz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rockzo, into his guard.
Diaz is looking to stand up but Rockzo won't let him.
Rockzo pulls Diaz in close to prevent any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
