Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ashida Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Villar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Deuces. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

No joy there for Villar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Villar is squirming around, avoiding Kai's attempts to control the action.

Kai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Villar is in a horrible position here. Kai smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Villar looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kai! Submission of the night perhaps?
