Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Strangess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Strangess.
Strangess tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Strangess misses with a hook to the body
enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.
Strangess swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Strangess tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.
Strangess throws a head kick that misses.
Strangess tries a head kick but it misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.
Strangess fails with the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Strangess shoots in.
Joe Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Strangess.
Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Strangess is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Strangess looks gassed!
Strangess tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
Johnson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Strangess defend it? Johnson steps over the head and cranks it - Strangess is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Johnson!
