Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tuco Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson connects with a jab.

and Mendoza counters with a shoot takedown. Jefferson fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mendoza misses the shot to the body.
Mendoza shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jefferson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mendoza wants to slow Jefferson down by chopping away at his legs.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mendoza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
