Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Calloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Calloway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Johnson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Calloway counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Austin Johnson has been cut. Johnson looks gassed! Calloway closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Johnson quickly recovers to half guard. Calloway seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Calloway content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Mark Calloway wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A decent looking cross lands there for Calloway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calloway scores with a push kick. Calloway is looking to clinch. Calloway throws a head kick that Johnson semi-blocks.
Calloway just misses with a punch to the body.
Austin Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Calloway is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Calloway feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Calloway postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Calloway from controlling successfully. Calloway controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Johnson keeping full guard, as Calloway tries to pass.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mark Calloway wasn't doing enough on the ground. Calloway has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Calloway tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Calloway fails to pull guard.
Calloway has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment. Calloway drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Calloway. That's going to take a lot out of him. Calloway wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnson won't allow it.
Calloway tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Calloway is trying to break free. Calloway goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Calloway tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Calloway lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Calloway controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Calloway dominated that round. The cut man is working on Austin Johnson's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Calloway cracks the inside of Johnson's front leg. Calloway changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Calloway tries to advance to mount but can't. Calloway wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working. Calloway slows the pace down. Johnson is breathing heavily.

Mark Calloway has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Calloway. Calloway throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Calloway finishes the takedown easily into guard. Calloway trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calloway stands up from Johnson's guard - Calloway perhaps looking for a knockout. Calloway wants to clinch. Calloway fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Calloway is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Calloway tries to clinch up. Calloway lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Calloway to score an easy takedown into full guard. Calloway throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Calloway is pushing down on Johnson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Johnson is fighting to maintain full guard but Calloway has managed to sneak the leg through. Calloway sitting and controlling from the half guard. Calloway maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Johnson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Calloway has cracked it and Johnson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Calloway!
