Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Calloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Calloway! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calloway has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Jackson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jackson scores with a shot to the side of Calloway's head. Jackson tries to break the clinch but Calloway is controlling the position. Calloway drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A short right from Jackson on the inside. Calloway tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jackson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Calloway backwards. Calloway manages to break the clinch.
Jackson misses with a leg kick and Calloway decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Calloway accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Calloway trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jackson's guard. Jackson keeping full guard, as Calloway tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calloway wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Calloway controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mark Calloway wasn't active enough on the ground. Calloway throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Calloway shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jackson eats them both and turns towards Calloway to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Calloway scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Calloway wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calloway throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Calloway thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
Calloway stalling away here and it's allowed Jackson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Calloway stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Calloway. Calloway looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mark Calloway has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A low kick from Jackson is predictable there so Calloway counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is breathing heavily. Calloway looking to pass the guard. Calloway throwing strikes from guard but Jackson blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calloway looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Calloway looking for a triangle here. Jackson is fighting it but it looks tight! Calloway pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jackson is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mark Calloway!
