Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Wasieleski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Wasieleski!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasieleski tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones fails with the takedown

and Wasieleski counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wasieleski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wasieleski is working away from the top position though.
Wasieleski is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tyler Wasieleski was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Wasieleski drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wasieleski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jones trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Wasieleski is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.
Wasieleski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.
Wasieleski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tyler Wasieleski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Wasieleski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Wasieleski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jones wants to get back to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wasieleski wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Wasieleski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wasieleski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wasieleski has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wasieleski content to stall in guard here.

Wasieleski drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Wasieleski off! Wasieleski jumps back into Jones's guard.

Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones is trying to control the position but Wasieleski postures up.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Wasieleski from controlling successfully.

Wasieleski wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away.

Wasieleski is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Jones looking to control but Wasieleski is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jones avoids the attempt from Wasieleski to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Wasieleski is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wasieleski is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Jones wants to control the pace but Wasieleski is squirming around nicely.
Jones seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Wasieleski is holding on tight.
Jones trying to control but Wasieleski is having none of it.

Wasieleski tries to improve his position but instead Jones has taken his back!
Wasieleski turns into Jones and is now in his guard.
Wasieleski wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wasieleski's guard.

Wasieleski is standing up over Jones. Jones looks to escape but Wasieleski dives into side control.

Wasieleski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wasieleski has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wasieleski tries to land a leg kick but Jones saw it coming and moves away.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arthur Jones dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Wasieleski counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Wasieleski to acknowledge the strikes.

Wasieleski is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Jones tries to control but Wasieleski wriggling away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wasieleski's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Jones trying to control but Wasieleski is having none of it.
Jones is landing with some decent strikes but Wasieleski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wasieleski?
Tyler Wasieleski has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jones is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Wasieleski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wasieleski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Wasieleski has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Jones working a defensive guard but Wasieleski manages to pass into side control anyway.
Wasieleski is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jones will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Jones tries to buck Wasieleski off but Wasieleski is having none of it.

Wasieleski circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wasieleski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wasieleski trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jones has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wasieleski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jones.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tyler Wasieleski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wasieleski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
