Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Channon Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Blair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Channon Storm! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blair misses with a left hand letting Storm counter with a right hand. Blair throws an off balance right hand
and Blair takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Blair swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Blair misses with a right hand and Storm counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sloppy strikes from Storm. Those never looked like landing. Blair stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Blair throws a jab when Storm was well out of range. Blair thuds a left hand into Storm's body. Blair throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Blair takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Blair looks to score with a jab to the body but Storm is just out of range. Storm bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Storm throws an off balance right hand
and Storm takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Blair scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. Blair works the jab nicely. Blair throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Storm counters with a nice body shot. Blair misses with a right hand and Storm counters with a two punch combo. Blair lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

letting Storm counter with a right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Storm defending well as Blair loads up on a big left hand. Blair throws a combination that misses and Storm counters with a lovely shot to the body. No joy there for Blair, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Blair throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Storm misses. Blair throws a left and a right that both miss
and Storm counters with a nice body shot. Blair is breathing heavily. Storm avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Blair counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Storm thinking. Blair misses with a right hand letting Storm counter with a right hand. Storm connects with a crisp jab. Blair throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blair blocks a jab. Storm cracks Blair with an open hand slap. Storm throws a jab but it's blocked by Blair. Blair tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Storm was well out of range. Poor timing from Blair. Storm throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Blair to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm misses with an uppercut. Blair sizes up Storm with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Storm gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Storm misses with a looping left. Storm is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blair had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Blair swings widly with a right hand
and Blair takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jimmy Blair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Storm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blair. Storm walks into a stiff left hand from Blair. Blair rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Storm counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The fighters circling - Storm throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blair is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Storm. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Storm looks to land a combination but Blair avoids it well. Blair is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blair scores with a one two! Storm had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Storm lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Storm feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Blair sprawling to the canvas! Blair rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Storm finish him?!
Blair is rocked! Storm tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blair was well out of range. Poor timing from Storm. Blair catches Storm with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! No joy there for Storm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Storm throws a looping overhand right but Blair ducks down to avoid it. Blair takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blair throws an off balance right hand
and Storm counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Blair ducks under a wild hook from Storm. Blair avoids a lazy jab quite easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Channon Storm dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Storm darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Storm swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Blair. Storm misses with a hook. Storm takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Storm digs a good body shot into Blair's ribs. Storm cracks Blair with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Blair looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Storm finish him?
Oh Blair is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Storm cracks Blair with a hook to the temple - Blair is on wobbly legs here! Storm swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Blair falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Storm wins by TKO!
