Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kosti Johannes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johannes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Raised Fist - Killing It. Walters has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Kosti Johannes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wayne Walters's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Wayne Walters has been cut.
Walters dodges the punch combination from Johannes.
Walters keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johannes.
Johannes cracks Walters with a good jab.
Walters avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johannes lands a really nice looking cross but Walters seems unphased.

Walters is rocked!
Johannes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walters keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick misses from Walters.
Johannes keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Walters is still on wobbly legs! Can Johannes finish him?

and Walters counters with a single leg into guard. Johannes didn't expect that.
Walters seems to have recovered his senses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johannes lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Walters!
Walters swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Walters tries to hold on but Johannes postures up.
Walters looks gassed!

Johannes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Johannes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Walters for as long as he can get away with.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Johannes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kosti Johannes just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Johannes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Walters counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Johannes tries to roll over but Walters keeps him under control.
Johannes is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Johannes could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Johannes manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Kosti Johannes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A right-left combo lands from Johannes.
Walters shoots for a double leg takedown but Johannes sprawls well. He's pushed Walters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Johannes tries a head kick but it misses.
Johannes tries to clinch there but Walters circles away.
Walters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johannes tries to avoid it but Walters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johannes to the ground. Johannes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Walters shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Walters showed some decent athleticism there.
Johannes is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Walters scores with a couple of nice shots.

Walters seems to be working for a kimura but Johannes defends the submission attempt.
Johannes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walters is working away from the top position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johannes wants to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Wayne Walters will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Johannes Rushes Walters and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Walters is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Johannes Piles on the pressure and Walters crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
