1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trip Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Bija! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bija drives through and clinches with Harris against the cage.
Bija looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Harris jumps guard but Bija stands there with Harris around his waist. Harris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Harris pulls Bija into guard.
Harris throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Harris is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bija has his hands clasped together but Harris extends an breaks Bija's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Harris.
