Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Amico blocks a head kick by Popinski.
Excellent takedown into side control there by D Amico.
Popinski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
D Amico throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
D Amico is nestled in close to Popinski, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Popinski wants to get back to full guard.
D Amico has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Popinski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in D Amico's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
D Amico tries to land a sweep but no joy.

D Amico gets to his feet and stands over Popinski, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Popinski felt that one! D Amico unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Popinski from any more punishment!
