Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Feral Damek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stewie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Feral Damek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stewie Jones! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damek shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Damek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Damek rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Damek tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Damek's guard now. Damek pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.
Damek shoots and misses and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Damek fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Feral Damek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Damek is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Damek is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Damek has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Damek prevents Jones from moving into mount. Jones has knee on belly and moves into mount. Jones lands a nice shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Damek is looking to get to half guard. Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Damek might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Damek is trying to stand up. Jones controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damek is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount. Jones with good strikes from the mount here! Jones putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jones working away from the top, dropping strikes. Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Damek is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones. Jones gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Damek slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones clinches. Damek tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.
Jones wants a takedown but no success here.
Jones has had enough of the clinch but Damek keeps him there for the moment. Jones pressing his opponent against the cage. Damek drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones connects with a high kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stewie Jones dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Damek tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jones is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Damek! Stewie Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Damek tries to buck Jones off but he can't manage it. Jones wants to control the pace but Damek is squirming around nicely. Jones with a couple of short strikes. Jones controlling from the full mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Damek is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jones looking to control but Damek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. You get the feeling that Damek really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stewie Jones wasn't active enough on the ground. Damek fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Damek didn't expect that. Jones stays in close to Damek's body and controls the position. Jones trying to control but Damek is working from the bottom. Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones cracks Damek with an elbow. That is naaassty. Jones tries for a kimura but Damek is defending well. Jones looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Damek is avoiding damage well.
You can see the frustration on Damek's face as Jones controls the position. Damek tries to escape but Jones is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jones gets to mount! Damek was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Damek is trying to stand up. Jones working for a guillotine from mount but Damek is in no mood to give up. Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Damek to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Damek shrugs it off. Damek is trying to stand but he's just given Jones his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stewie Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Damek wants to get back to his feet. Damek is looking to get back to is feet but Jones passes into side control.
Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Damek, who protects the arm well. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Damek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Damek is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damek is not content to let Jones control the position. Damek tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it. Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Damek tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Damek to the ground. Damek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Damek closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Damek wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Damek working away. Damek wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Damek creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jones sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jones controls the position for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damek goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jones rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Damek's guard! Nice work there by Jones! Damek looking to control.
Damek wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Damek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Damek pinned against the cage. Damek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones gets tackled into the cage by Damek. Damek maintains the clinch. Damek misses with some punches.
Damek drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Damek lands a takedown into guard.
Damek wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Feral Damek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stewie Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Damek being controlled here momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Stewie Jones. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
