Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drako Vonstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronny Sizemore!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vonstein fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sizemore connects with a leg kick. Vonstein looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Vonstein closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vonstein wants to work for an arm triangle but Sizemore is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sizemore is staying active underneath Vonstein, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Vonstein looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sizemore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sizemore keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Vonstein seems to be looking for submissions.

Sizemore is looking for a sweep. Vonstein is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vonstein is trying for a kimura here. Sizemore looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Vonstein wins by kimura!
