Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chong Man Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Stankus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoi comes to the cage accompanied by Hunk of Burning Love by Elvis Presley. Stankus is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Koto - Jabdah. Chong Man Hoi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chong Man Hoi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stanley Stankus! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stankus is looking to chop away at Hoi's legs. Stankus scoring well with a low kick there.
Stankus attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Stankus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stankus is looking to score with low kicks. Stankus throws a nice looking combination but Hoi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hoi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stankus.
No luck for Hoi with that takedown attempt. Stankus throws a half hearted mid kick. Stankus throws a front kick aimed at Hoi's knee but Hoi avoids it well. Stankus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hoi defending well as Stankus loads up on a big left hand. Hoi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stankus tries to avoid it but Hoi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stankus to the ground. Stankus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stankus misses with a takedown and Hoi counters with a left and a right that stings Stankus. Stankus misses with a kick to the body and Hoi counters with a single leg into guard. Stankus didn't expect that. Hoi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stankus's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stankus is controlling Hoi's position as best he can from this difficult position. Stankus is trying to stand up here but Hoi is controlling him well. Hoi is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hoi is breathing heavily. Hoi wants to pass the guard but Stankus is defending well. Stankus pushes Hoi off looking to stand but Hoi dives back in and keeps control.
Hoi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hoi is pressing down on Stankus's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stankus is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stankus is trying to stand.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hoi shoots in looking for a takedown. Stankus tries to sprawl out of it but Hoi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stankus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chong Man Hoi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stankus throws a combination that misses and Hoi counters with a two punch combo. Stankus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hoi blocks a head kick by Stankus.
Hoi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stankus but Stankus pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nice sprawl there from Stankus as Hoi shoots in. Hoi closes the distance and clinches up with Stankus, looking for a takedown. Hoi pushes Stankus against the cage but Stankus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hoi has a takedown stuffed. A punch combination from Stankus misses. Hoi fails with the takedown. Hoi moves out of range of the leg kick from Stankus. Stankus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stankus tries to avoid it but Hoi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stankus to the ground. Stankus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stankus tries a head kick but it misses.

Stankus throws a nice outside leg kick. Stankus throws a half hearted mid kick. Stankus lands a nice looking body kick. Hoi scores with a takedown into Stankus's guard. Stankus is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hoi forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stankus tries to kick Hoi off but Hoi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hoi wants to work for an arm triangle but Stankus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hoi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoi wants to pass the guard but Stankus is defending well. Stankus controlling the position for now. Stankus looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stankus tries to get to full guard but Hoi has control of the leg. Hoi is working for a kimura but Stankus is defending it quite comfortably.
Stankus gets back to full guard.
Stankus is looking to stand up but Hoi isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chong Man Hoi will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hoi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stankus's waist but Stankus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hoi off to one side. Stankus stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoi. Hoi gets slowly back to his feet. Stanley Stankus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Stankus.
Stankus tries to clinch up. Hoi's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hoi duly obliges. Stankus tries a head kick but it misses.
Hoi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hoi lands in his opponent's guard. Hoi passes Stankus's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Stankus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hoi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Stankus wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stankus is defending against the submission attempts here by Hoi.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hoi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stankus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hoi. Stankus kicks off Hoi and gets to his feet. Hoi avoids the head kick by Stankus.
Stankus drives through with a takedown into guard. Stankus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hoi is looking for a triangle but Stankus pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stankus is stalling in the full guard. Hoi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hoi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stankus is just riding it out for now. Hoi eventually gives up the hold. Hoi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Hoi looking to secure an arm triangle but Stankus defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stankus is in all sorts of trouble here.
Stankus holds on for dear life, controlling Hoi's posture momentarily. Hoi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stankus is on top in guard.
Stankus controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stankus tries to stand but Hoi is controlling from the bottom. Stankus gets to his feet - Hoi follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stankus looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Stankus throws a sloppy head kick and Hoi moves out of range easily. Chong Man Hoi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Excellent takedown into side control there by Stankus. Stankus tries to advance to mount but Hoi denies him. Stankus moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Stankus decides to stand back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hoi plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Stankus throws a leg kick but Hoi sees it coming and moves out of range. Hoi throws a nice head kick!
Hoi scores with a takedown into Stankus's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Stanley Stankus will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Stankus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hoi counters with a left and a right that stings Stankus. Hoi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stankus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stankus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hoi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Chong Man Hoi has been cut. A lazy body kick from Stankus and Hoi counters with a two punch combo. Hoi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stankus is fending him off so far but Hoi persists. Nope, Stankus circles away and we're back to standing. Stankus throws a head kick that misses and Hoi counters with a shoot takedown. Stankus fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hoi pushes down on Stankus's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hoi seems to be looking for submissions.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hoi is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Stankus reverses the position - he's now on top in Hoi's guard. Stankus chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Stankus escapes and throws Hoi's legs to the side, diving into side control! Stankus has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hoi! Chong Man Hoi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stankus content just to control the position here.

Despite being in the dominant position, Stanley Stankus just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hoi shoots for a takedown but Stankus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chong Man Hoi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stankus looks to land a body kick but Hoi moved away. Stankus throws a right and a left that both miss. Hoi shoots in for a double leg but Stankus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stankus clinches with his opponent.

Hoi shoots for a double leg takedown but Stankus sprawls well. He's pushed Hoi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stankus clinches but Hoi breaks the clinch and Hoi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stankus's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stankus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hoi! Hoi is working to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stankus looking to control and managing it successfully. Hoi is squirming around, avoiding Stankus's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chong Man Hoi. I think Hoi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
